  • Applications Available for New Paltz Rotary Club Scholarship

    The New Paltz Rotary Club is accepting applications for their annual “Doing Good in the World” Scholarships to recognize those youths who exhibit the Rotary Motto of Service Above Self. Two $3,000.00 scholarships will be awarded. Interested students residing in the New Paltz Central School District should submit an application by May 23rd.

  • State Seal of Biliteracy

    The State Seal of Biliteracy, passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the Governor on July 31, 2012, was established to recognize high school graduates who have attained a "high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English." The Seal of Biliteracy will be affixed to the high school diploma and transcript of graduating pupils attaining Seal criteria.  For more information click here.

  • Reminders from the Ulster County District Attorney
    It is that time of year when students in our county will be taking part in proms and graduations. Although it is justifiably a time of joy and celebratration, it is equally one for caution and restraint. I am writing to enlist your assistance in helping to prevent the potentially tragic consequences of drinking and driving.
